Whoever said "What you don't know can't hurt you", obviously wasn't a landlord. When you're a Landlord, what you don't know CAN hurt you. That's why a credit evaluation is absolutely fundamental and why we provide a comprehensive, written credit evaluation on all applicants. We're aware that some offices will rent your apartment, send you a check and a signed lease agreement and you've never even met your new tenant, much less seen a credit evaluation on them or approved their application. At Lisa's Leases, that doesn't happen. As Landlord and Owner, you are not only notified of each and every application submitted on your rental property, but you, AND ONLY YOU, select the best applicant from those submitted. Everything we verify is done in writing.
All information is available for your review and we also supply and prepare all necessary Rental Housing Authority (RHA) Forms.
All lease paperwork is done in triplicate. Not only do you and your tenant receive individual copies, but one is also retained by our office for your security and to continually maintain the most accurate and complete information on your property so that we may serve you better in the future. There may be times when you find your own tenant either through a friend, neighbor, or co-worker, but don't have the time or resources to complete your own credit evaluation.
